“Time and Space are not conditions of existence, Time and Space is a model of thinking”
– Albert Einstein
The concept of Mahakal (as the word literally implies) may have come from the idea of one master time (Great- Time) which comprises of (every) several cycles of time in various forms, spiral cycles of time, concentric circles of time and many other formats which we are unable to understand or imagine because of our limitations as mortals. The master time is not a period as it has no start point and no end. It is not a cycle because it does not re appear, it is always there. The master time is not just when things happen, it is also where things happen. Time is our address in space. Time is space. Mahakal is that master time. Mahakal is that master space that does not start or end. One can talk about another time from today, or another planet from earth, but one can’t talk about another master time or another master space. All cycles of time and space, small and big, mortal or immortal, tangible or imagined, falls on this master time or master space. Therefore we have yugs, kalps, Brahma’s days and nights, our days and nights, Vishnu, Brahma, Shakti, Surya. Every other concept is a pratichhaya of the Master Concept. Every other concept creates Maya. Mahakal alone is the Truth, every other subset is Maya. There is no adi and ant of Mahakal. Every other thing comes and goes and comes again. Mahakal is always there. We come from Mahakal. We go to Mahakal. Every other time is a subset and of null value. Every other space is a subset of null value. It all adds up to Mahakal. The master time is the superset of everything.
Yesterdays and Tomorrows are all same, the space out of our Todays. Today, t=0, is the Maya that prevents us from realizing that there is no today, that there is no change of time and that the place in space we claim to be ours, is both at rest and in motion relatively.
We all know the truth, unless we pretend to forget that we do not add or substract matter or energy when we appear, grow and die here.
